Live · Web gameA daily word game with geometric logic: four shapes hidden in concentric rings, letters working as vertices and a simple but recognizable visual mechanic.

Game design
Edgewise is built on a simple idea: finding words linked to geometric shapes. The interface needed to be clean, memorable and easy to understand within seconds.
Triangle, square, pentagon and hexagon work as the game structure, not as decoration added at the end.
A quick-play format designed for daily return without turning the experience into a heavy app.
Clear typography, controlled contrast, recognizable geometry and few distractions around the board.
A project to explore game design, UX/UI, naming, identity, web publishing and future product evolution.
Approach
Edgewise comes from crossing two very direct languages: wordplay and geometric reading. The screen does not try to look complex; it tries to let the player quickly understand what is in front of them and where the challenge lies.
The board works with concentric rings and shapes with different numbers of vertices. Each row can hide a word, but the interest lies in reading relationships, patterns and positions.
As an own project, it also serves to test product decisions: identity, domain, publishing, analytics, marketing, content rhythm and an experience simple enough to grow without losing clarity.
Play
The project will continue evolving with interface improvements, new puzzles and community experiments around the daily game.
